BOMBSHELL: Brady Fielder Wears Two Crowns In One Head At 2024 PBR Finals

Brady Fielder Wins Both Chess and Bull Riding at 2024 PBR Finals

At the 2024 Professional Bull Riding (PBR) World Finals, an unusual but captivating event took place: a game of chess. This unique crossover event was held at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where two Australian bull riders, Brady Fielder and Callum Miller, played a game of chess that was displayed on the big screens. This match was part of a promotional effort to announce a new collaboration between PBR and Chess.com.

Brady Fielder, ranked eighth in the world for bull riding and an active member of the Chess.com community, emerged victorious in the chess match against Miller. Fielder’s weekend was impressive not only on the chessboard but also in the arena, where he secured a third-place aggregate finish, earning $178,600. Callum Miller, who ended the season 42nd overall, collected $21,500.

In the same event, Brazil’s Cassio Dias achieved a remarkable feat by winning both the 2024 PBR World Champion title and the Rookie of the Year honor, becoming only the second rider in history to do so in the same season.

Leon Watson, the author of the article and a Chess.com journalist, is dedicated to promoting chess. Watson has a rich background in journalism, having worked for several major UK newspapers and being actively involved in the chess community as a player and organizer.
