Last week, Avedisian was spotted at a local go-kart track, diligently preparing for upcoming road racing events, including the highly anticipated VRR in three weeks. Despite her background in sprint car racing and dirt ovals, she is now setting her sights on mastering a new discipline.
“I’m just trying to prepare and be the best I can when I get to the track,” Avedisian explained during a recent interview at the go-kart track. “I have a whole GSM schedule this year with Toyota, so I want to make sure I’m ready for anything.”
The young driver, who gained attention after being featured on the MAVTV program “On the Rise…” last Thursday, revealed that her decision to venture into road racing came after signing with Toyota late last year.
“I don’t even really know how it really came about,” Avedisian admitted. “But when I signed with Toyota back in November last year, I was thinking about this year and 2024, and what I was going to do.”
