Jeff Bezos and the Celtics would make for an incredible relationship. Once upon a time, billionaire Jeff Bezos, a cultural icon, attempted to purchase the NFL team Washington Commanders, but as we all know, that chance ultimately fell through his fingers. Bezos now has his sights set on a new treasured asset: one of the most illustrious sports organisations in history, the Boston Celtics, who are up for sale.Bill Simmons, a well-known basketball figure, said on his podcast on Monday that Bezos is considering buying the Celtics. Which made me wonder: What is Jeff Bezos seeing when he looks at the Celtics, and why would he do that? What is his desire?
