Zakk Wylde to Launch 2024-25 ‘King of the Monstours’ with Zakk Sabbath, Zoso, and The Iron Maidens
Legendary guitarist Zakk Wylde is set to hit the road later this year with his Black Sabbath tribute band, Zakk Sabbath, for the 2024-25 “King of the Monstours” tour. Wylde will be joined by bassist Rob “Blasko” Nicholson and drummer Joey Castillo, with supporting acts Zoso, a Led Zeppelin tribute band, and The Iron Maidens, an all-female Iron Maiden tribute group.
The tour kicks off on December 1 in Phoenix, Arizona, and will run through mid-January, with stops in cities like Las Vegas, Denver, and Austin.
In addition to the tour, Zakk Sabbath has also released Greatest Riffs, a digital compilation featuring songs from their albums Vertigo (2020) and Doomed Forever Forever Doomed (2024). Tracks include iconic Black Sabbath hits like “War Pigs” and “Iron Man.”
Reflecting on his decades-long journey, Wylde said, “I remember playing these songs when I was 16 at keg parties, and now, at 57, I’m still playing them. But now, there’s just a few more people in the crowd.”
Fans can expect a tribute to hard rock legends with the tour paying homage to Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Iron Maiden—pioneers of heavy metal and rock.
