Brooke Brighton is a meteorologist currently forecasting for Spectrum News in Kansas City and Wisconsin. She graduated from Ohio State University, where she studied Agricultural Communication and Atmospheric Sciences. Before joining Spectrum News, Brooke worked as an on-air meteorologist and reporter at WMBD 31 and WYZZ 43 News in Peoria, Illinois.
In addition to her on-air work, Brooke is active on social media, sharing weather updates and engaging with viewers. She encourages the public to share weather photos through the Spectrum News app for a chance to be featured on-air and on social media platforms.
Brooke is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys activities such as kickboxing, storm chasing, hiking, and nature photography. She has a background in basketball, having played on several championship teams, and remains enthusiastic about sports.
