Not one to back down, Lorraine pressed on, playfully saying, “You can tell me! You can tell me!” However, Pete maintained his cool, delivering a witty retort: “Really nice try. But you know what – I’ve left the talking about the romance thing in the past. Really nice try though, really appreciate that.”
The exchange left viewers amused, with many praising Wicks for his charm and quick thinking. Though Lorraine’s efforts were unsuccessful, the playful banter added a lighthearted touch to the interview.
