Portelli’s recent real estate activities have also garnered attention. He purchased all five homes from “The Block” 2024 season for over $15 million and plans to sidestep hefty property taxes by giving away the properties via a raffle on his LMCT+ website. Victorian government’s new taxes, including a 7.5% levy on short-stay rentals and increased land taxes, could have cost him over $1.2 million. Portelli, who gained fame in 2022 with his yellow Lamborghini entrance, has accumulated a total of $27.8 million worth of “The Block” properties across multiple seasons. He announced on Instagram his intention to give away the properties as a “world first” initiative.
