Kat Timpf, a prominent Fox News personality and regular panelist on Gutfeld!, has announced that she and her husband, Cameron Friscia, are expecting their first child. The 35-year-old shared this news in a heartfelt op-ed, reflecting on the unexpected journey to motherhood and the poignant timing, as it coincides with the 10th anniversary of her mother’s passing.
Timpf discovered her pregnancy on May 30, expressing surprise due to her age, which classifies her pregnancy as “geriatric” in medical terms. She candidly described the moment, noting that it was a gradual realization rather than an immediate emotional rush. On June 27, she and Friscia heard their baby’s heartbeat for the first time, a milestone that filled them with cautious optimism.
The timing of her pregnancy holds deep personal significance. November 5, 2024, marking the sixth month of her pregnancy, also commemorates the 10th anniversary of her mother’s death. Timpf expressed a mix of excitement and sadness, acknowledging the challenges of embracing motherhood without her own mother by her side.
In her op-ed, Timpf also mentioned her upcoming book, I Used to Like You Until…, set to be released in September. She hopes to impart lessons to her child about viewing the world beyond binary perspectives, a value she attributes to her late mother’s influence.
Timpf and Friscia, who met on the dating app Raya, have been married since May 2021. Their journey from meeting to marriage has been marked by personal growth and shared experiences, now culminating in the anticipation of welcoming their first
child.
