Timpf discovered her pregnancy on May 30, expressing surprise due to her age, which classifies her pregnancy as “geriatric” in medical terms. On June 27, she and Friscia heard their baby’s heartbeat for the first time, a milestone that filled them with cautious optimism.
The timing of her pregnancy holds deep personal significance. November 5, 2024, marking the sixth month of her pregnancy, also commemorates the 10th anniversary of her mother’s death.
