In a press conference held at WWE headquarters, CEO Nick Khan announced the launch of new international performance centers and partnerships with local wrestling promotions in Asia, Africa, and South America.

“As WWE continues to grow as a global brand, we’re committed to nurturing local talent and bringing the excitement of sports entertainment to every corner of the world,” Khan stated.

Key highlights of the expansion include:

A Performance Center in Lagos, Nigeria: WWE’s first-ever facility in Africa will serve as a training hub for aspiring wrestlers across the continent.

Latin American Talent Initiative: A new developmental program aimed at scouting and promoting wrestlers from South America, with live events planned in countries like Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico.

Expanded Tours in Asia: WWE will host its first-ever live events in Vietnam and the Philippines, alongside its return to India with a premium live event later this year.

The announcement also included updates on WWE’s digital strategy, with plans to launch localized versions of the WWE Network and more content on streaming platforms in different languages.

The news has been met with enthusiasm from fans and industry experts, who see this as a step toward making WWE a truly global phenomenon.
