Kate Garraway to Feature in New Netflix Documentary on Caregiving Challenges

Renowned broadcaster Kate Garraway is set to feature in a groundbreaking Netflix documentary exploring the challenges of long-term caregiving. The documentary, titled “Unseen Battles: The Reality of Caregiving,” will provide an intimate look into the lives of families navigating complex health conditions while shedding light on the struggles within the UK’s social care system.
Garraway, best known for her work on Good Morning Britain, has been a vocal advocate for caregivers following her late husband Derek Draper’s battle with severe health complications after contracting COVID-19. Her previous ITV documentaries, Finding Derek and Caring for Derek, were widely praised for their raw portrayal of the personal and financial toll of caregiving.
