Yankees’ Aaron Judge Welcomes First Child Amid Spring Training Preparations

 

New York Yankees’ captain Aaron Judge and his wife, Samantha Bracksieck, have announced the birth of their first child, daughter Nora Rose Judge, born on January 27, 2025. The couple shared the joyous news with a black-and-white photo of their daughter’s feet on Instagram. Judge, 32, missed the Baseball Writers’ Association of America Awards due to the imminent birth, accepting his unanimous AL MVP award via video call. The Yankees reached the World Series last season but were defeated by the Los Angeles Dodgers, with Judge leading the MLB in home runs but struggling in the series.

 

In other news, the Yankees have invited 26 non-roster players to their 2025 spring training camp, including top prospects George Lombard Jr. and Spencer Jones. The camp roster now totals 65 players, with pitchers and catchers reporting on February 11 and exhibition games starting February 21.
