Meteorologist Alex Wilson and her husband, Elliot, have set a new Valentine’s Day record, creating the world’s longest consecutive romantic dinner date. The couple dined for 36 hours straight, breaking the previous Guinness World Record of 34 hours.
Held at a luxurious rooftop restaurant in Atlanta, the marathon dinner featured a custom menu with 20 courses, each carefully curated by top chefs. From sunrise mimosas to midnight fondue, the celebration embodied their love of food and each other.
“We wanted to do something special this year, and what better way than to set a record?” Wilson said. “We love food, we love each other, and we love a challenge!”
To keep the date official, the couple followed Guinness World Records guidelines, taking only five-minute breaks per hour and ensuring every course was properly documented. Romantic touches included a live jazz band, custom love notes between courses, and a final surprise fireworks display.
