New Initiative Launched to Expand Kill Tony Podcast’s Reach
Austin, TX – February 28, 2025 – In an effort to bring Kill Tony to an even wider audience, host Tony Hinchcliffe and his team have announced the launch of the “Kill Tony Underground” Initiative, a new program designed to promote up-and-coming comedians and expand the show’s presence across the country.
The initiative will feature regional live events in major comedy hubs like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, allowing more aspiring comedians to showcase their talent in a Kill Tony-style format. Additionally, a mentorship program will be introduced, where experienced comedians from the show, including Hinchcliffe and regular guests, will provide guidance to promising performers.
“We’ve built something special with Kill Tony, and this initiative is about giving even more comedians the opportunity to be discovered,” said Hinchcliffe. “We want to take this show beyond just Austin and give comics from all over a chance to experience what we do here.”
As part of the push, the team is also partnering with streaming platforms to produce exclusive behind-the-scenes content and highlight some of the best performances from past episodes. Fans can expect special episodes featuring winners of regional events, culminating in a Kill Tony Underground Championship, where the best new comedians will compete for a chance to perform at the Comedy Mothership in Austin.
With the show’s cult following growing stronger, the Kill Tony Underground Initiative aims to solidify its place as the ultimate proving ground for new comedic talent.
