Michigan State Spartan Marching Band Invited to Prestigious Vienna Music Festival
East Lansing, MI – The Michigan State University Spartan Marching Band (SMB) has received a prestigious invitation to perform at the Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival in Vienna, Austria, set to take place from July 4–9, 2025.
This world-renowned festival, held in the historic Golden Hall of the Musikverein—home to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra—brings together top youth and collegiate ensembles from around the world. It provides a platform for cultural exchange, musical excellence, and international collaboration.
