Faith Torrez Scores Perfect 10, Leads Oklahoma to NCAA Regional Final

SEATTLE, WA — Oklahoma gymnast Faith Torrez delivered a flawless performance at the NCAA Seattle Regional Semifinals on April 4, 2025, scoring her first career perfect 10 on the balance beam. Her outstanding routine helped propel the Sooners to a first-place finish with a team score of 198.025, securing a spot in the Regional Final.

Torrez’s historic night didn’t end there. She recorded a career-high all-around score of 39.800, becoming just the fourth gymnast in Oklahoma program history to reach that mark—joining legends like Maggie Nichols, Anastasia Webb, and current teammate Jordan Bowers. She also clinched regional titles in the all-around, bars, beam, and floor events.

With this momentum, Oklahoma heads into the Regional Final to face Auburn, Missouri, and Arizona. The top two teams from that round will punch their tickets to the NCAA Championships in Fort Worth, Texas, scheduled for April 17–19.

Faith Torrez’s perfect 10 is more than a personal milestone—it’s a statement that Oklahoma remains a powerhouse in collegiate gymnastics.
