The announcement, made in December 2024, marks a major milestone in McGillis’s career, aligning perfectly with his and Jen’s shared passion for combating climate change and promoting environmental stewardship. The couple—who just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in January 2025 with a private beachside ceremony—has long been committed to raising awareness about environmental issues.
