Amy Schneider Embarks on Stand-Up Comedy Career Following Jeopardy! Masters Exit
April 2025 — Amy Schneider, the trailblazing Jeopardy! champion known for her record-breaking 40-game win streak, is stepping into a new spotlight: stand-up comedy.
Following her surprising elimination in the quarterfinals of the Jeopardy! Masters tournament, Schneider is turning the page and diving into a creative passion she’s long admired. Speaking on the Inside Jeopardy! podcast, she revealed that she’s been testing the waters of stand-up comedy, most recently performing at San Francisco Sketchfest.
“I’ve always loved storytelling and making people laugh,” Schneider shared. “This feels like a natural next step.”
Alongside this bold new chapter, Schneider released a young adult memoir, Who Is Amy Schneider?, on March 4, 2025. The book offers a candid look into her journey as a transgender woman, her lifelong love of trivia, and the personal drive that made her a Jeopardy! legend.
Though her latest Jeopardy! run ended sooner than fans hoped, Schneider made it clear: “Jeopardy hasn’t seen the last of me.”
With comedy, writing, and future trivia appearances on the horizon, Amy Schneider’s evolution from software engineer to cultural icon continues to inspire.
