BREAKING NEWS: Livvy Dunne Invests $3.6 Million to Launch Shelter for Homeless Youth in Louisiana

April 13, 2025 – Baton Rouge, LA

In a stunning and heartfelt move, NCAA gymnastics star and social media icon Livvy Dunne has announced a $3.6 million investment to transform a historic Baton Rouge property into a state-of-the-art shelter for homeless youth, aimed at providing housing, mentorship, and life skills development for vulnerable teens across Louisiana.

Dunne, who rose to global fame as a gymnast for LSU and has become one of the most prominent figures in college sports thanks to her success in NIL partnerships, said the project is “the most meaningful thing I’ve ever done.”

> “I’ve been incredibly blessed,” Dunne shared at a press conference Monday. “This is about giving back to kids who haven’t had the same support I’ve had — and showing them that their story doesn’t end with struggle.”

The new facility, named The Livvy House, is set to open in early 2026. It will provide shelter for up to 40 youth ages 12–18, offering educational support, athletic and artistic programs, and on-site counselors. Dunne’s initiative is also being supported by a coalition of LSU alumni and local philanthropists.

From Fame to Philanthropy

Dunne’s transition from viral routines to social responsibility has made headlines before, but this marks her largest personal investment to date. According to her team, the funding comes from Dunne’s earnings through high-profile NIL deals with Nike, Vuori, and American Eagle, among others.

“She’s using her platform not just to inspire but to impact lives directly,” said LSU coach Jay Clark. “She’s always been about more than gymnastics — and this proves it.”

Social media erupted with praise following the announcement, with hashtags like #LivvyGivesBack and #TheLivvyHouse trending within hours.

As one fan posted:
“From leotards to leadership — Livvy Dunne is the real deal.”
