Jen Carfagno, beloved meteorologist and co-host of The Weather Channel’s “America’s Morning Headquarters,” is celebrating a whirlwind season of professional triumphs and personal milestones—alongside her husband of 20 years, Neil McGillis.
In early 2025, Carfagno was officially inducted into the Meteorologist Hall of Fame at the Weather Discovery Center in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania—an honor recognizing her decades-long commitment to weather education and on-air excellence. The same month, she announced the launch of a new primetime series, “Weather Unleashed,” debuting this spring. The show will spotlight climate change, extreme weather events, and inspiring stories from the field.
Meanwhile, her husband, Neil McGillis, made a major move of his own. In December 2024, he was named Director of Sustainability Initiatives for a prominent environmental organization, taking the lead on innovative strategies to combat climate change—an issue close to both their hearts.
The power couple also celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in January 2025 with a private beachside vow renewal ceremony, attended by close family and friends. Their daughters, Natalie and Kelly, wrote touching letters for the occasion, sharing how their parents’ shared passion for science and service has shaped their lives.
