Collaboration to Feature Marine Toys for Tots as Primary Sponsor for Austin Dillon’s No. 3 Car in Select Races
Richard Childress Racing (RCR) has unveiled a new multi-year sponsorship partnership with Marine Toys for Tots, marking a significant collaboration between the six-time NASCAR Cup Series championship-winning team and the esteemed charitable program.
The partnership will see Marine Toys for Tots serve as a primary sponsor for Austin Dillon’s No. 3 car in select NASCAR races, providing a platform to promote the charitable organization’s mission to support disadvantaged children during the holiday season and beyond.
LtGen Jim Laster, USMC (Retired), President & CEO of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Richard Childress Racing and Austin Dillon’s No. 3 Car. This collaboration is a powerful way to drive the message of giving and community support across the finish line, reaching millions of NASCAR fans who can help significantly impact disadvantaged children’s lives during the holiday season and beyond.”
For RCR, the partnership represents an opportunity to align with a renowned charitable cause and contribute to its Christmastime efforts. Torrey Galida, president of Richard Childress Racing, remarked, “Toys for Tots is an incredible organization, and we could not be more excited to build a relationship with them and the U.S Marine Corps Reserve. We are honored to be able to debut the No. 3 Toys for Tots Chevrolet and are eager to work closely with Toys for Tots to highlight their Christmastime charitable efforts and year-round commitment to ensuring that no child is forgotten.”
The No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 race car will showcase the Marine Toys for Tots colors for the first time at the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway in September, marking the beginning of an impactful collaboration between RCR and the charitable organization.
Established in 1947, Marine Toys for Tots is recognized as America’s most popular children’s Christmastime charity and serves as a premier community action program for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
Austin Dillon, a four-time NASCAR Cup Series race-winning driver, expressed his excitement about representing Marine Toys for Tots on the track, stating, “I’m honored to carry the Marine Toys for Tots colors and support such an important cause. I look forward to racing with the No. 3 Toys for Tots Chevrolet and raising awareness for this incredible organization.”
Despite recent challenges, Dillon remains determined to showcase his competitive spirit and aims to add a Southern 500 trophy to his list of prestigious victories.
The collaboration between RCR and Marine Toys for Tots signifies a meaningful union between the world of motorsports and charitable giving, demonstrating the power of sport to drive positive change in communities nationwide.
