Robin Meade and Husband Tim Yeager Reveal They Have a Son After Years of Keeping Him Private
In a heartfelt and unexpected revelation, former HLN anchor Robin Meade and her husband, Tim Yeager, have shared that they have a son—something they had kept private throughout their decades-long marriage. The couple, who wed in 1993, made the announcement during a rare joint interview, explaining their decision to shield their child from the public eye.
“Our son has been the greatest joy of our lives, but we always wanted to give him a normal childhood, away from the spotlight,” Meade shared. “With my career in national news and Tim’s work, we felt it was best to let him grow up without public scrutiny.”
The couple did not disclose their son’s name or age but mentioned that he is now an adult and pursuing his own career outside of media. “He’s doing incredible things in his own field, and we couldn’t be prouder,” Yeager added.
Fans of Meade, who spent over two decades hosting Morning Express with Robin Meade on HLN, expressed surprise but admiration for the couple’s decision. While Meade was a constant presence in viewers’ lives, she was always careful to keep her personal life separate from her career.
“We’re sharing this now because he’s grown, and we feel it’s the right time,” Meade explained. “But we’ll always respect his privacy first and foremost.”
The revelation has sparked curiosity, but Meade and Yeager have made it clear—they have no regrets about keeping this part of their lives out of the public eye.
