Renowned broadcaster Kate Garraway has unveiled her latest venture, a podcast and YouTube series titled ‘DXB Unheard’, where she delves into the lesser-known narratives of Dubai’s evolution from a modest fishing village to a global metropolis. The eight-episode series features intimate interviews with remarkable individuals, including Bakhita al-Muhairi, the first Emirati female commercial pilot, and Isobel Abulhoul OBE, founder of the Emirates Literature Foundation.
In addition to this new project, Garraway has secured a two-year contract extension with Smooth Radio, ensuring her continued presence in the 10 am to 1 pm slot.
