Providence Friars’ Amica Mutual Pavilion Wins Prestigious All-Time Stadium Award
Providence, RI – July 2025 – The home of the Providence Friars, Amica Mutual Pavilion, has been honored with the All-Time Best College Basketball Arena Award, recognizing its rich history, electric atmosphere, and impact on the sport.
Presented by the National Sports Venue Association (NSVA), the award celebrates arenas that have significantly shaped college basketball. Amica Mutual Pavilion, formerly known as the Dunkin’ Donuts Center, has been the heart of Friars basketball for decades, hosting legendary games, unforgettable tournament runs, and a passionate fan base that makes it one of the toughest places to play.
“This arena embodies everything great about college basketball,” said NSVA spokesperson Emily Carter. “From its thrilling upsets to its dedicated fanbase, it has created a legacy that stands the test of time.”
