Breaking News: Latifah Makes An Audacious Appearance In Style

Queen Latifah Cheers on Team USA with Son Rebel at Paris Olympics

Queen Latifah made a rare public appearance with her son Rebel while cheering for Team USA at the Paris Olympics on Monday, July 29. The rapper and actress, 54, was photographed in the stands alongside her young son as they supported the U.S. swimming team.

Wearing a Lakers jersey and Nike headband, Rebel leaned into his mom while she proudly waved an American flag. The pair enjoyed the event together, marking one of the few times Latifah has been seen publicly with her son, whom she shares with partner Eboni Nichols, 46.

Queen Latifah has kept her son’s life private, though she publicly acknowledged him during her 2021 BET Lifetime Achievement Award acceptance speech, where she affectionately mentioned, “Eboni, my love. Rebel, my love,” before closing with a heartfelt “Happy Pride.”

In the past, the star hinted at her desire for privacy regarding her family, telling SF Gate in 2008, “I will probably be six months pregnant before anyone knows about it and I won’t talk about the baby until after it’s born.”
