Kyle Larson’s May schedule is shaping up to be one of the busiest and most ambitious of his career, with a packed lineup of racing events spanning multiple disciplines.
The highlight of Larson’s month is undoubtedly his long-anticipated debut in the Indianapolis 500, which will see him compete in the iconic race on the same day as the NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600. Leading up to this monumental event, Larson will spend two full weeks at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, participating in multiple rounds of practice and qualifying sessions.
But Larson’s racing endeavors don’t stop there. Before his Indy 500 debut, he’ll be hitting the track for NASCAR Cup Series races at Kansas Speedway and Darlington Raceway, as well as the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Notably, Larson will have some help at the All-Star Race, with Kevin Harvick coming out of retirement to practice and qualify the Hendrick Motorsports No. 5 car on Larson’s behalf.
In addition to his NASCAR commitments, Larson will also be squeezing in some Sprint Car action behind the wheel of the Silva Motorsports No. 57 car. He’ll be competing in four Kubota High Limit Racing events throughout the month, starting with races at Lakeside Speedway before heading to Kokomo Speedway and Lawrenceburg Speedway.
