Breaking News: Julianne Hough Is Reportedly Involved In A Car Crash

Tragic Multi-Car Crash Claims Lives of Two in Major Pile-Up

In a devastating crash on the I-95 interstate near Richmond, Virginia, two people were killed, and several others were injured after a multi-car pile-up occurred during heavy rain on Saturday morning. Authorities identified the victims as 28-year-old Lucas Taylor and 34-year-old Sarah Bennett, both residents of Richmond.

According to Virginia State Police, the crash took place around 8:30 a.m. when a semi-truck, driven by Matthew Kane, lost control due to slick conditions and collided with several vehicles in the middle lanes. Among those hit was a compact sedan driven by Bennett, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Taylor, who was driving an SUV, was later declared deceased after being airlifted to a nearby hospital.

The crash involved a total of six vehicles, including two trucks and four passenger cars. Several other individuals were taken to local hospitals, with at least three in critical condition. Emergency responders worked for hours to clear the scene, as traffic was backed up for nearly 10 miles in both directions.

Witnesses reported seeing the semi-truck swerving before it jackknifed into the median, triggering a chain reaction. Authorities are investigating the incident but have ruled out alcohol as a factor. “It appears weather conditions played a major role in this unfortunate accident,” said Virginia State Trooper Danielle Wright.

This incident marks one of the deadliest crashes on I-95 this year. Road crews are now urging caution as forecasts predict further rain in the region.

More updates are expected as investigators continue to piece together the events that led to this tragic accident.
