Patrick Swayze Honored with Posthumous Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

The late Patrick Swayze, beloved actor, dancer, and cultural icon, was posthumously awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today. The ceremony drew fans, friends, and family to Hollywood Boulevard, where they celebrated Swayze’s enduring impact on cinema and the performing arts.
Lisa Niemi, Swayze’s widow, gave an emotional speech, reflecting on her husband’s passion for his craft and his unwavering kindness. “Patrick poured his heart into everything he did, whether it was dancing, acting, or just being with the people he loved,” she said.
Fans from across the globe gathered, many holding signs with quotes from his famous roles, such as “Nobody puts Baby in a corner.” Others wore memorabilia celebrating his work in films like Dirty Dancing, Ghost, and Point Break.
